Gosh I'm sick of watching the Jets and the Giants. Why do those teams represent such a high proportion of our out-of-town telecasts? Is it the NFL, the network, or the local affiliates doing this to us?

The networks assign games. Local affiliates can ask for changes but they rarely change except late in the season when a game out of market will impact the home market's playoff eligibility/standings.
