Truth and Rumors: Bonds

Just read in CNN T/R that once the Feds are done with Marion Jones, they are going after Bonds. Jones was as defiant as any athlete I've ever heard in response to taking steroids. I believe there was less circumstantial evidence on her then what has been published about Bonds. One thing is for sure, you don't lie to the Feds. I'm guessing if the Feds do go after Bonds, he will not go the route of Jones.

Bonds admitted to taking the cream and clear. He denied knowing what they were, but admitted to taking them. It's not worth going after him for perjury over a technicality that you can't prove.

The Feds aren't interested (and really shouldn't be) in going after Bonds. If they were, they would have done something by now. They went after Jones because she outright lied to a grand jury.
