He did. His problem is that he couldn't read defenses. I remember TB without naming names said we need to make better sight adjustments and it was after a game in which DG went the wrong way on a route and TB got picked off.

At least Donald "Can't Learn Da Plays" Hayes was honest when he said, "I don't really know the offense yet".

Which is why some sort of response between clueless and overconfident is encouraging, if not exciting.

Reiss had something to say about Cunningham today:

I think he is their fastest OLB. When he splits out wide against the tackle, he has a very explosive first step in his rush and gets on the tackle quickly. You can see he is still new to the position and gets swallowed up at times, which is what I'd expect. Plays with good effort. It looks to me like there is some promise there.
