Sorry, if it wasn't clear, my above post was said mostly tongue-in-cheek and with a smile (especially the "heathens" remark, lol). If the vocal majority prefer daily threads then that should be the approach.

Use this thread as a TC pre-game thread, and/or Day 1, and then start making dailies from there. And to BGC's point, maybe you have dailies with specific updates, alongside a larger/broader ongoing TC/team/roster discussion thread (which this thread could potentially serve as, too).

Yeah, just type "Patspicker" on your search and don't worry about the year itself... It's updated fairly quickly, and thanks to whoever does that for us!

GB (wow), BAL & NE have the most players on these lists but other teams don't have to announce PUP for veterans until they return next TUE, so there's probably more coming.

Also, I didn't realize that players on NFI list don't count against the roster (but do against the cap). So, Pats actually only have 82 players for training camp w/ 5 on PUP.

I'm not sure this is true. There are two types of both PUP and NFI designations: active, and reserve. Active counts against the roster limit, reserve doesn't. Our two rookie OL on the NFI list are active, whereas Nordin is reserve (he had to pass through waivers to get there). The former two are eligible to practice whenever they're ready, but Nordin is done for the year. Nordin is the only one who wouldn't count toward the active roster limit.

Not sure what you're talking about. Nobody is discussing salaries.

Hoping Jack Jones picks up where he left off in minicamp- starting alongside Mills and providing tight coverage vs. the top wrs.
Can't expect him to be JC Jackson as a rookie but kids got some skills and probably the best raw talent of the cbs.
With Jon.Jones returning as the top slot, the cbs might not be as bad as I thought.
MJones probably the backup slot adds depth. The safeties are the best unit on the team so our def.backfield hopefully won't suck
