Darius Butler became a good slot CB for the Colts. Hjalte Froholdt became a permanent starter at C/G for the Cardinals. Braxton Berrios became a decent slot WR.
IF Polk or Baker continues to improve Hollins is not Needed.
We could do so much better than Hollins.
As a blocking outside WR? He had 700 yards previously with Josh at Vegas. Who could we add to do so much better? We could do so much better than Hollins.
It will probably be a 6th or 7th horrible return for a Former First Rounder.FWIW - Bedard says about Strange today, "it feels like this is the beginning of the end for him.
If this is the case, I think Strange has trade value.

You're going to be disappointed... it seems like even Transition Tackle Caedan Wallace is ahead of him on the OG depth chart.I feel if it's not better they won't make a deal.
Polk and Baker one more year... Baker have X Potential. As a blocking outside WR? He had 700 yards previously with Josh at Vegas. Who could we add to do so much better?

It's his Last year here: they have already told him they're are not picking up his Fifth Year Option. It seems like we have Log jam at Guard...with Him - Sow - Robinson and now Wallace. I am sure I'm missing few names at Guard.iuiii
You may be correct, but Strange has an interesting cap number as well as starter potential on the line.
If the Pats play it right I think they can squeeze more from an injury ridden team (or we might be the injury ridden team and keep him).
I'm not in favor of releasing him this year but it does seem Vrabel will do what he can to send him packing. It's his Last year here: they have already told him they're are not picking up his Fifth Year Option.

LOL. Too funny. Never change.Polk and Baker one more year... Baker have X Potential.

I think these 4 are locks - diggs, williams , Boutte and Pop .
Pop and Boutte - Would be decent wr3 /wr4 options who might be better than the other wr 3/4 on most teams . The Hope - they elevate and play closer to Wr2. Backups/ Insurance - Williams.
Williams - rookie. They will not expect too much out of him and will consider him more in mould of wr 5 who can elevate to wr 2 or 1 next year . Goal - get more playtime and build playmaking ability
Diggs - treated like a wr1 . Hoping he can elevate others. Going by his contract , looks like they are just punting . For all we know he might be a more high end wr 2 than a wr 1 who would potentially decline next year . Backup - expect Polk or Williams or baker to grow into this role
Bourne - injury insurance for training camp. Essentially if DIGGs goes on Pup or IR
Hollins - Injury insurance for Diggs if he fails or if one of selected candidates fails in first six weeks - pup for first six weeks and then either cut or trade. His guaranteed contract is just insurance money for now.
Polk/ baker / chism - all 3 are outside looking in . Considering that Diggs for all we know might not be here and if Douglas excels as a slot and wants a insane contract next year we need a backup slot, I feel we might keep 2 wide receivers to develop along with Williams - that should be Polk and Chism unless baker lights it out in next 4 weeks.
Final 6 on 53 - Diggs , Boutte , Pop , williams , Polk, Chism where last 3 are developmental prospects
Bourne - cut unless diggs goes into pup
Hollins - PUP to start season and could come midway if Polk or Chism flame out .
Baker - practice squad
