Can't wait for the game day thread for the intrasquad scrimmage!

Hope our beat guys will be allowed to tweet through it. The Bucs prohibited any reporting during the scrimmage.

I was looking for the tweets a couple of hours ago and then realised it was a 1pm start duh ! ...Yeah , I hope we get some live comments.

I assume that next week we will only know who has made the team when they announce who has been released

Seems like we get a real in-stadium scrimmage today. Also as we are getting towards game prep for W1 it reportedly is the final open practice for this year:

JMac on Cam:

Final open practice!

Bills have suspended radio host, team reporter Chris Brown

Some teams are being very strict about this. For instance, the bills suspended their reporter/radio host for publicly disclosing prohibited information. Based upon some tweets by Bills fans, the guy is well respected and they feel that the Bills went overboard.

I say let other teams know as much as they want. Doesn't matter if they know where Gunner is lining up and what routes he is running, nobody is going to be able to stop him anyway!

One of the things that I think we're seeing this year in terms of people not being at practice is BB giving players time off in some cases.. Such as with Wino today. We know that Maluia is nursing an injury still.

Hastings I think, is bound for the PS. As is Thomas.

For the love of god I hope there's no artificial crowd noise at any NFL games.

It's bizarre the lengths people will go to in order to maintain the illusion of normalcy/comfort. These are unprecedented times; sports and entertainment should reflect that.

And anyway, it would be neat to hear more of the on-field nuances.

Every team's defense would have crystal clear recordings of every offenses' calls, though.

I think their will be...but it should be regulated with the same noise and decibel by the league. As of yet it's not...so teams can abuse that at will.

Sucks for us that it wasn't a full scrimmage but on the flipside it also means that BB and McDaniels will keep their cards hidden until they actually play ball in Week 1.

With Cam as your QB scrimmages will also not tell you too much because one of his strengths will be all the evasive stuff that is usually not showing up in practice.

That being said going into the season I feel like the defense will most probably have to carry the team for at least 3-4 weeks before the offense will have had enough reps to kinda come together. Above all I am pretty pessimistic on our 2 minute offense. This is partly due to the QB change but also at least as much because of the extraordinary offseason and its lack of practice opportunities.
