Trade Rondo?

So now #1 draft choice James Young is headed to the Maine team. Is this Fab Melo all over again? #1 choices should not be farmed out.

Young is...well, young. He needs game experience, and if management refuses to go Full Tank,
then he might as well build up his minutes in Maine. I would've taken Gary Harris because of
his more substantial body of work, but Danny obviously feels that Young's upside is higher.

And don't remind me of that awful (the nanosecond it was made) pick of Flab Mello when Danny
could've rolled that pick (from the Clips) a couple of more years until it was no longer lottery-
protected. At least we got one back from them in exchange for Doc Rivers.
The signing of Vitor Faverani hasn't worked out any better. Danny should've kept Colton Iverson;
he could've provided a physical presence inside where we are very sorely lacking.

when drafted, it was said the James Young would need time to gain experience, so not totally unexpected. It is still a great pick IMO and will pay off.

we need to either trade some of our pick for a veteran or two...or pair some picks and draft a couple of the Kentucky guys. Either way, trading Rondo is not the answer. Would not mind trying to get Perkins back. I really think we are just one or two quality guys away from having a pretty good team

if you dont think you can sign rondo dont you have to get something for him? doesnt make any sense to just let him walk. and he isnt worth a max deal. hes not good enough for that kind of contract.

I have no problem trading Rondo, but one condition (of many) in such a trade is that Gerald Wallace's contract be included.
But firstly, I would see what I could get for Jeff Green while his value is relatively high.
