Who the hell wins with ****ty QB play?

No coach. Any coach who lacks a good QB will lose too, which is what happened to Bill in Cleveland. I wouldn't panic yet, at 2-1. If Cassel suck and the offense averages under 20 a game do we say Bill sucks? A coach can game plan all he wants, he can't win a battle with ponies instead of horses.

Cowher won games with an OK QB, won a super bowl with a very good one.

Walsh won with Montana.

Lombardi with Star

Landry with Staubach

Shannahan with Elway

Should I even continue? Did they do **** wiothout anyone else?

You forgot about Eli Manning. Oh, wait.....

The run defense thing also completly omits the fact that many of those rushing yards were accumulated at the end of blowouts when the Pats were playing a very soft prevent defense.

Tony Mazz- "You're either a Belichicklet or your not". I'll never forget that insane rant of his. :banned:

Didn't Joe Gibbs win SBs with QBs like Doug Williams and Mark Rypien?

Anyone actually remember how average the Steelers were in the 80s with Knoll as the head coach without Bradshaw? From 1983 -1991, Knoll's Steelers made the playoffs three times, had winning records 5 times with 10-6 being the best record during that timeframe, and was 2-3 in the playoffs.

How about Marv Levy before Jim Kelly. He coached the Chiefs for six years and only had one year with a winning record. He never made the playoffs. The best the Chiefs did under him was to go 9-7 and finish third in the AFC West. At least Belichick went 11-5 and went to the playoffs with Cleveland.

Last time I checked, both Levy and Knoll are in the HOF.

BTW, who really cares what a baseball guy thinks about football. Listening to Tony Maz about football is like getting stock advise from the cashier at your local convenience store.

You really expect Tony Massarotti to understand that? The guy doesn't know football. It is painful to listen to him and guys like Sean McAdam talk football on WEEI. It is like listening to Felger talk baseball. The only baseball guy in this town who really understands football is Steve Buckley.

bad journalism. im getting really tired of reading this garbage

i think he should have put another one in there at the end. after 1 hour of this being posted, ive wasted 1 million people's time. who cares
