I'm really glad we get him for Sunday - I don't think I've ever been mad at him for making a bad call. Any thoughts?

I suspect they will let the players play, as they've been doing all post season.

Gene steratore to ref NFCCG - so two of the better referees on championship weekend.

THe article mentions that one of last week's referees gets to ref the Super Bowl, so morelli cheffers, Blakeman or Macaulay.

Maybe not on the first drive (but probably should start this way), our defense should be getting some good pushes (within 5 yards) and stick in close coverage. hopefully this will make the Denver WRs do lots of hand checking and the refs will let them play. Then we can mug them a bit more later in the game and get away with a just bit more.

Naturally they have to change things up a bit and disguise coverage when applicable, but using the disruption as a theme will help.

The Saints fans wanted Corrente crushed because of the Pats game. The 49ers wanted him dead because of the call, and it was lame, against Brooks on Brees and Pats fans wanted a flag at the end of the Dolphins game. Overall I think he's OK but would have preferred Steratore. I knew Corrente was the AFC game because 49ers fans would have lost it if he got another big game this year for them.

Would rather it be Steratore but at least it isn't Boger, Green or Blakeman!

Seattle/San Fran probably needs the better official too, those 2 will be very chippy.
