I just remembered another one - Chris Canty. The first was a terrible DB for us in the late '90s.

The second was a lineman (can't remember O or D) for the Cowpokes during this past decade. I remember when they'd talk about him on the pregame shows, I'd do a double-take and say, "That guy is still in the league?!"

On the bright side, if Carroll wasn't so inept, we wouldn't have replaced him with Belichick.

I think about that all the time.

Had the Pats kept Martin and Gash, the Jets wouldn't have won the division in '98.

Bledsoe probably would've stayed healthy in '98 and possibly won a playoff game.

Also, the Pats would've easily made the playoffs in '99.

The former Cowboys D-lineman was a late pick and was pretty good.

I think you mean the Pats would have won it, because the Jets did win the division in 1998. (IIRC, it was the first time they had done so since the merger.)

I think the Pats would've been able to sqeeze out 2 more wins and barely take the division.
