Tonight at 8 PM EST on the NFL Network, They are showing "America's Game",The Story of The 2001 New England Patriots. Tom Brady,Lawyer Milloy, and Adam Vinatieri narrate the story of what can be argued was most Pats' Fans, "Favorite Team".

Definitely my favorite! Cant wait!! Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks, def check it out!

Lawyer Milloy?

I guess I'll be watching. Havent seen much of the guy for a while even though he was with the Bills.

Cool i loved that team. I also loved our secondary that season. That was the most underratted secondary of all time.

I'll watch it or tape it.

My wife bought the 2004 one from itunes for $1.99 so I assume 2001 and 2003 will be available that way too for a nice cheap price.

Great show.

I'm actually recording every episode, not just Pats since most of them are so interesting.

Anyone know if the DVDs come with any bonus features?

IMO that team defined what the Patriots are all about.

Thanks for the heads up! I am already enjoying this.

This **** is unreal. We all know the circumstances, but to see them all lined up together on a show and know how it came out is remarkable.

Just watching the first 15 minutes made me realize what this team went through. Rehbein's (sp) passing, your defensive leader getting knocked out week one, 9/11, then Bledsoe's injury in a short time. Thats more than what some teams would deal with in a year.

I should know this, but since it wasn't part of the official's explanation, where and when was the "tuck rule" first mentioned?

Man, I had forgotten how important Milloy was to this team.

Does Vinatieri still have that game-winning ball?
Or did it go to the Hall of Fame?
or stay with the team?

That was just awesome, that team was so special.

I'll never forget the feeling I had when the kick went through the uprights. Nothing, not the next two championships, not even the Sox WS win (and I'm a huge Sox fan) felt the same. Just a moment of shock and pure joy.

Damn.

Goddamn. I missed it. Well except for the last 3 minutes.
Hopefully they'll rerun it tonight.

I caught the last half hour, and all I could say is OH MY ******* GOD... That show was great , but it conitnues to amaze me, its the best thing since the 3 games to glory products by the pats... I get chills watching this..

In terms of drama and storyline, this is better than 3GTG. I just wish there could be a 2 or 3 hour version.

If someone buys the DVD I'd love to hear if it has any extras or bonus footage.

That last bit of the show got to me, where Lawyer said even though he and Bill had some negative experiences after the SB, he's glad that their celebratory moment after the game was captured (their big hug).

All three of the narrators (Brady, Lawyer, and Vinatieri) did a good job.
