FWIW, the article about Maroney was by Karen Guregian not Tomase; he just copied it to his blog, I don't think this info initiated from Tomase.

I had thought Tomase had it in his blog FIRST. I could be wrong.

A groin is something that is readily reinjured. Why is it so hard for people to believe that he will be kept out as a precaution?

Because the people you refer to are 20-something spazzes who chicken-little at their own shadows. It's a long season. Would we like to see Maroney 100% and ready to run all over Fort Worth? Of course. But IT'S A GROIN INJURY and BB is wise to go easy on that so we don't lose him for a longer (and more important) stretch.
