Love TB12, BUT, unless the Pats are getting Alt and a few other guys I don't want him behind this line.

Zero chance it happens, successful people with egos need to stay in the news.

Very Brett Favre, he's going to be doing this every year till he's 50 and then people no longer listen to it and it isn't news.

Brady mentioned the Patriots to be polite. He is not going to come out of retirement to help a team finish 6-11. But it would sure be interesting if Brock Purdy got injured in week 15....

Would he get me as if the Pats picked a QB at 3?

Sign the beast.

And “don’t call it a comeback” - ll cool J

Main issue is that once he’s approved as a minority owner of the Raiders, he can’t play anymore. That’s the rules. But until that is approved, he can.

Besides that - I mean, obviously it’s not going to happen, but just theorize for a minute. Trade down to 6, take Odunze, use the extra 2nd you picked up in the trade down plus pick 34 to move up into the teens and take a premier left tackle. Boom! Offense is Brady-ready. Though I doubt he wants to come learn and run AVP’s offense if he had the choice lol. Who knows though, Flacco was successful.

This is 99.9% a nothing story and maybe even a subtle threat to the league to approve his ownership stake or else he will un-retire and go back to the Patriots (their worst nightmare) but it’s still fun to think about.

Wish Brady attempted to make a come back this past season. I think he had enough left to have a decent season.

But another season and another year older, it's a long shot even if he isn't trolling us.

However, there's a small chance if he still has enough youthful strength in his body, if his mind is still sharp as ever, if a team wants him, if that team has a top 5 OL, is a run first team, has great receivers, has a creative OC, and has a need for a QB. I think I just described Baltimore. Every 2nd year Lamar has a big injury. He's due.

Last time Brady skipped the off season workouts, he got injured early on and was out of the season....and he was younger then. These days he would get crushed and lose a knee or, even worse, a hip.

And, unless he was totally insane, Brady would not come back to the Patriots and try to play behind a turnstile of an OL with no receivers (except Pop) to throw to. The Patriots are, at least right now, the junior varsity of the NFL after a pathetic off season. Unless we are visited by a draft-day miracle, the Patriots are confined to the basement for the foreseeable future.

It we want to talk crazy talk, it is more likely that BB comes back to the Patriots (please, please), if they can just fire the elderly owner....but that will not happen, at least not this year, but, as it stands, Mayo will be the fall guy after another disastrous season and there will be a job opening next January.

BTW, I am sure I am making a lot of friends at Gillette these days ..

Or, now that Bill is gone Brady wouldn't be opposed to playing for the patriots.

we do know at the time it was basically Brady or Bill. and Kraft chose Bill. a logical choice, but ultimately the wrong one.
