so giants havent made playoffs since their last sb appearance?

I don't know much about McAdoo, but he looks like a goofball with his playsheets.

Every time I see McAdoo I can't help but think of Mr Rooney from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I think it's the mustache.

You are correct about the last two but do you think that means they are automatically going to win 3 road games in a row this year?

Its amazing how many Pats fans I talk to that are more concerned about the Giants than the Patriots getting the 1 seed. We need to win out or have Oakland lose this weekend. That's the most important thing I'm worried about for the pats. If they are able to make the super bowl, I'll be pumped at the chance to see #5 so I wouldn't care who they played. I think it's going to be really tough to even make the SB. Hope it happens!

i don't particularly care about any games at the moment other than our own, i care little about the seed we get either, except as it relates to us winning our remaining games (even after/if clinching #1 seed)

i care little about how the rest of the AFC stacks up in seeds, and even less so about the NFC

however, i do follow patterns, and if an opponent seems to consider something their "formula to success" I'd like that pattern to end

i didn't care what happened in the game yesterday and wasn't going to waste any energy rooting for any team other than the pats (been the case whole year)

i hope and expect (as i always do) for the pats to win the SB, against whom? I don't much care...except for the giants, because I do indeed want to see us destroy them in one to make up for the two loses and the talk about how they're our kryptonite, but if it happens it happens, if someone else represts the NFC thats fine too

He looks like and sounds like an idiot.

I want no part in a Giants x Pats III, F that, I watched the game yesterday and if Eli were not in such a bad night he would have won the game, in that last drive I was pretty sure if it was against us he would found someone in the endzone.

F that, if the SB is Pats x Giants I won't watch due to fear of a cardiac event.
No, but that fourth down play ABSOLUTELY would have been PI if it had been the Pats instead of the Iggles.

There are five, and only five, NFL teams that come into this week with 10 wins or more. The Giants are one of those five. And that 10 win Giants team is the only team in the NFL that's found a way to beat the Cowboys this year.

Fyi, this is a quote from my original posting: "If we are talking preferred matchups I don't understand why we would want Seattle, Dallas, Falcons over the Giants".

Using your own criteria (exclusive accomplishment, 10 wins, and beat the top team in the conference) we should want to face the Giants instead of Seattle. Seattle in one of only two NFC teams with the exclusive 4 losses or less, and Seattle has the far bigger feather in their cap of beating the AFC conference leader, the Patriots. As well Seattle has scored more points and allowed less points.

Doing a quick search here are some notable "fearful" Giants items:
-Except the Texans the Giants have the fewest points scored of every single team in the payoff hunt.
-The Falcons have scored a massive 179 more points than the Giants.
-Seattle has allowed a tangible 39 points less
-*The Giants are 2-2 in December (albeit a 3 point win over Dallas is definitely a notable win, but they also have a notable and convincing loss to Pitt as well as a PO qualifying match loss to an also ran Philly team where they never held the lead once in the game).
- *The previous month, November, was clearly the Giants best month as they were 4-0. All 4 teams will finish as a losing season. They beat the no wins Browns by 13, the three win Bears by 6, the six win Eagles by 5, and five win Cincinnati by 1. ((take it a month further back to October, in 3 of their 4 games they got a wish washy close game win over the hapless Rams by 7, loss to Green bay by 7, loss to Minn by 13).

*It is quantifiable that "fearful" is much more likely than not doesn't describe the last two months, November and December, of Giant Football or justify fear of a Giants v Patriots SB rematch -- with the exception that a half decade ago and a full decade ago they were able to squeak by to gain superbowl wins against us.
Again, the Giants do not "suck" but they are not the team we should be noting as the one to fear. And I'm surprised that someone would even argue it based on the 2016 season.

really looking like a GB/Giants first round matchup

say goodnight, Giants
