I've read Greggggg for 5 years. I thought much of the Patriots stuff earlier this year was amusing but annoying, kind of like Pierre Salinger with Flight 800. But now I'm done, this guy has lost it. It's a kind of sad really.

Not only that, but he talks about all those years the Colts couldn't beat the Pats in the playoffs they were graceful in defeat....except for the part about Polian pissing and moaning and ultimately getting the rules changed to benefit Peyton and Co.

Usually, TMQ gets a major front page headline, even getting linked in the site's main picture for at least some of the day. Today, it was kept "below the fold" as it were.

Wonder if ESPN is getting a little embarrassed by Easterbrook's raving, but wants to stop short of censoring his opinions.

He is a good writer, I will give him that much. But really who comes out creepy? After reading his columns you feel the need to take a hot shower.

I have all the respect in the world for Indy but now more than ever I hope the Patriots wipe the floor with them (and run up the score). I can just see precious Greggy, Cris Collingsworth and little Petee King* sniffling together after the Patriots shred the Colts the a pack of wild dogs.

Apparently Dungy's speech at a coalition with anti-gay ties doesn't figure into Easterbrook's tally and on the flip side, I guess the fact that BB is making a concerted effort to understand and help less priveleged communities shouldn't matter (see recent thread on BB)...I just can't get over how the media paints Dungy as a saint while BB gets blasted when you take these two things into consideration.
