Not to mention the double cap hit Belichick would be taking for cutting him and then signing him again.

If Belichick felt he had any use for Lloyd he would have renegotiated something.

I'll never say never - you never know what could happen with the injury bug - but if Belichick wanted Lloyd he never would have been gone in the first place.

Solid point. Lloyd is already 3.5mil against the cap while sitting on his couch. BB will probably retire before Lloyd makes this team (assuming they cant use that 3.5 to sign him, but why cut him the first place?)
