I was just wondering if there is any chance of getting hold of a couple of tickets to game 1 of the season v the Chiefs as me and my mate are in New York that week? Over from Scotland! If so how do we go about it and what sort of costs we talking?

Yes, you can get them on the secondary market from stubhub, nfl ticket exchange, tickpick (no buyer's fees), etc. you are probably looking at $500 per ticket since it's banner raising night.
