It had better be WAY before December. This isn't rocket science, it's football. Moss, Stallworth, Welker are veterans and Brady has more experience now in working new WR in. Plus he's gonna have a much better frame of mind about it that last year when his pal was traded.

Well actually, BFan, it IS rocket science, at least the way they do the passing game now. What creates the greatness we find in the top WR groups comes from years of playing together, not just weeks or even months.

In today's passing game, more and more QBs are throwing to SPOTS, not players. They throw to where they EXPECT their receivers TO BE. It is no longer like it used to be where the QB saw the open receiver and threw the ball to him....at least most of the time. THAT kind of coordination takes a lot longer than 10 days of minicamps running in shorts going about 3/4 speed.

The margin of error is very small. A WR running a 13 yd route when the QB is throwing a 14 yd route can creat results that are disasterous. Developing that kind of coordination means running THOUSANDS of repetitions, not the hundreds that will be run during the off season and camp.

Now this isn't to say that there won't be a quantum leap in the productivity of the WRs compared to the first couple of weeks of last season. We WILL BE good. The improvement in talent will take care of that. What I am saying is the TRUE benefit of all that talent at WR this season WON'T be realized until late in the season. And in actuality, I'm probably being optimistic with THAT prognostication.
