Early on in OTA's all the starters got reps, Thornton got the most... conditioning as much as anything from reports.

After they sat a lot of the vets and sure things, there are 90 players to get reps for, you won't do that unless you rotate and rest some guys.

"Soft tissue" means we're resting our starters and that's all you need to know.

Soft tissue injury could be anything. I am guessing it is minor and he could possibly be practicing if this was the regular season or training camp and not minicamp. From what we can tell, he didn’t have some kind of injury on the field where he was carted off or even needed assistance getting off the field.

Seems like the Pats are trying to catch lightening in a bottle with Douglas - Boutte - Lee and Cunningham. It will be interesting to see their progress along with Tre Nixon. Most have Taxi squad eligibility which is a good thing Nixon was close last year and got the dropsies in PS-Games hope he improves off that.
