This is going to be an easy game...

Has anyone even seen the person that posted this thread since last night? lol

Yep, I'm here to take my punishment and fall on my sword. Well, all you can really do is predict your thoughts based on the information you have. I thought the Pats had a very strong advantage in this one, but I was clearly wrong. I am not surprised that the Browns had more energy than the Patriots, but I am surprised by the lack of adjustments throughout, and the fact the Patriots just never got excited.

Oh well... Patriots lost this game, not me. So please direct your anger elsewhere, patsfaninpa. Seriously, get help.

Here to take my punishment

Three whips each.

I posted the "This will be an easy game" thread. Ouch. What a wretched performance. This crow does not taste good.

Well, I'll make sure to post a thread next Saturday night: "It will be impossible to beat Pittsburgh" with plenty of stats to back it up.

Re: Here to take my punishment

You predicted the Patriots to easily win while posting on a place called PatsFans. You were wrong, oh well.

Your prediction had no effect on the game or anyone's life.

No need to be "punished".

Haha...and you'll bring the wrath of the board on you for saying such blasphemy!!

It's alright...most of us thought Cleveland wasn't going to be much more than a speed bump.

There you go. All on one thread now.

Re: Here to take my punishment

some people never learn. there is no such thing as a sure thing in the nfl. i remember a game in 07 against the giants. there was no way the pats would lose that game either.

Not with this crap again. The in-game adjustments were fine. The in-game execution was absolutely terrible.

Offensively the adjustments were great. They moved the ball very well beginning in the second quarter.

Defensively the adjustments were not great.

The execution was lacking on both sides. The players are always to blame more than the coaches.

Defensively, what particular adjustments did you have a problem with?

How about keeping your fuxking feelings to yourself or at least within a thread, instead of spewing crap bad karma

Idiot

Whoa ease off on this poor guy.

Anyone can make such a mistake. All the national football experts were saying the same things. I am sure there were even people in the Patriots locker room before the game thinking the same thing.

Here's an example:

4th Quarter

1st down
Hills runs up the middle for 5 yards
2nd down
Hills runs a sweep to the outside; no one there. Huge gain.

1st down
Hills runs up the middle for 5 yards
2nd down

1st down

2nd down

Like I said, it's more on the players, but you'd think they would have seen that coming.

Thanks for the sympathy, but don't bother with patsfaninpa. He is the by far the most angry poster on this board and needs counseling.

Actually, several were calling for an upset, albeit more in the vein of the Browns being up for a big game -- especially with a bye week to scheme -- than in terms of the Pats laying an egg.

I doubt the defensive calls were asking for TBC to rush upfield on a running play while Ninkovich was getting washed out on the play.

Blaming the playcalling for the inability of the personnel to stop simple cutback runs is about as bright as starting a thread claiming that the game is going to be easy and pummeling those who dared to be concerned about a team that was coming off a big win against the reigning champs.

You didn't do anything wrong just in stating your opinion.

You were wrong when you attacked those who disagreed with you.
