This thread tries to refute an argument that to my knowledge nobody has ever made!
Nobody says that the Patriots as a franchise did not TRY to accumulate a collection of potent offensive weapons.
The argument is that for the 2013 season anyway, they happened to not succeed in putting many significant offensive weapons on the playing field on a regular basis.
Nobody would have said that the Patriots were short on weapons if Gronk were 100% healthy, if the murderer were not a murderer, if Dobson were healthy, if Vereen played a full year, if we'd have kept Wes instead of getting Amendola, or if Amendola hadn't shredded his groin.
