If I remember correctly Gillislee is a one trick pony, no ST's and no pass catching ability..

Yeah, I think the idea for bringing him in was to use him more in the 12-15 carry kind of bell cow role or at least the closest that we have to it here, in an attempt to replace the loss of Blount. After all, he started the year by scoring 3 TDs in the opening game.

Unfortunately for him, Burkhead is a tough kid who works hard and can catch passes while playing STs, and Lewis seems to have returned to his previous form. And then there’s still James White as a 3rd down back + the important role that Devlin plays, and that’s not even including Bolden on STs.
