The Revenge Factor

As fans many of us had a tough day back on Jan 14 2006 when the Donkeys ended our hopes for a 3 peat. At the time it was the toughest loss I had as a Patriots fan. Now six years later to the day, again on a Saturday night, the Patriots face the Donkeys. We owe the Donkeys a season ending loss. Would winning this week be enough revenge to cure your pain of losing that game?

Not really.. that was the 3rd worse loss in recent history.. #1 07 #2 losing to the colts season 2006 AFC title game #3 I would say is the Broncos loss but others might say the Jets game last year because it was the Jets.. But the Bronco's loss was the 3peat never been done before out the window..

To me this is like going to a gun fight with an M16 assault rifle.. and facing a bronco's team with a 9mm handgun..

The broncos loss in 06
The Colts loss in 07
The Ravens loss in 10
The Jets loss in 11
and the most painful one in 08
only a super bowl win will make us happy again lol

I am not saying it would make up for a SB title. I just mean against the Broncos franchise.

I voted I don't care. I just want a win. To me the Broncos are a completely different team now, so it doesn't feel like we are playing an old foe. Now if the Pats were ever to meet the Giants in the SB again, that would be a different story.

I have to say that of all the Patriots losses I've seen, I'm not even sure that one ranks in my top-10 of "painful" ones. So I hardly am looking for any measure of "revenge" this Saturday.
