The return of Randy Moss with SF vs the Patriots

..except Tom Brady..says Business man, Robert Kraft, who is no idiot.

Not even him. I was cheering this team as passionately as I do now when Steve Grogan was the QB. No one is bigger than the team. Justr ask our coach!

I am more worried about Kaepernick's legs than his arm. He is mobile and can create offense.
He'll be facing the one type of defense (disciplined) that can contain him.

Weird thought: Beating Randy in the SB. Ouch. I feel for anybody that was on that '07 team, but for him to lose again, and to the team that he lost with before, sheeeeeeit, that would be a nightmare.

Randy will get up for this game. I'm still more worried about Crabtree and Gore though.

I so wish we had a do-over on the Dowling pick. Let's just hope Talib is healthy for this game, our defense needs him.

Pats will need to stop the run first but our DL has shown they can do that. BB has a solid record against rookie QBs though so hopefully we get into Kaepernick's head and shut down that SF offense.

I'm looking forward to the press conference where Randy expresses his undying love and gratitude to the Patriots' organization. :rocker:

Moss has 21 catches for 326 yards and 2 TD's. He's either a shell of his former self or Jim Harbaugh has no idea how to use him.

Hi everyone, 49ers fan here.

As you all may know there's been a major QB controversy in SF, and Niner fans are basically split. I just want to know your thoughts on Harbaugh's decision (since Bellicheck made a similar one with Brady), and who would you guys rather face on Sunday night, Alex Smith or Colin Kaepernick?

Smith is garbage, credit to Harbaugh for minimizing his weaknesses, don't know much about Kaepernick yet.

Not worrying about Moss,But.....

Everyone in the stands during the game next weekend needs to stand up and yell '199!!!...199!!! then later yell Giovanni Carmazzi!!

If that don't rile Brady up to have another glorious game, nothing will

The DBs should have a kangaroo court fine if one of them gets blocked by Randy.

For what it is worth Randy Moss played a season-high 51% of the 49ers snaps Sunday against the Dolphins, after playing 41% of the snaps the previous week against the Rams; for the season he had been averaging 33% of the team's snaps. Reason for the increased playing time was Mario Manningham being out with a shoulder injury.

Against the Dolphins Moss was targeted four times: incomplete in the deep middle; complete for 17 yards deep right; incomplete short left; and complete short right for 13 yards. Grand total of two receptions on four pass attempts for 30 yards.

Against the Rams Moss was five times: incomplete deep left; complete short right for 16 yards; and three targets short left, two of which were complete for 14 combined yards. Grand total of three receptions on five pass attempts for 30 yards.

On the season he is 5th on the team with 21 receptions, 4th with 326 yards, and 3rd with two touchdown receptions.

Welcome to the board. I love when people willing to talk about the games come in from other teams. Honestly it's hard to say which one I would rather face right now but I believe Harbaugh is an excellent coach and I trust his judgement and thus believe long term it's the right decision. With all the teams out there with crappy QBs you should be able to flip Smith for a decent draft pick.

We don't care.

Moss is already better than Ochocinco's contribution to the Patriots last season. I hope they target Moss a few times, and I'm bummed that Stallworth is on the IR and won't be in uniform.

It matters NOT who the QB is..they will prep for both...it's all part of the gamesmanship of it all....
