Great win last night, ST tore it up and I especially liked to see our team's commitment to the run. I appeared to be standing more than sitting down on the couch last night. That Chung is a rocket, I hope he stays a Patriot for a while. Nice to see points off of turnovers.

However, for me the game to watch wil be the Ravens game in two weeks. I am sure the guys had this game circled when the schedule came out, as they should. They had their butts handed to them at home.

I am not willing to remotely suggest how some current players compare to recent past players at the same position. Let's all take a page from Parcells on this one shall we. It's a long season.

The guys played lights out last night and it's great to get that big divisional road win....but let's see how they do against Baltimore.

The good news is the Ravens have the worst offense the Pats will have faced other than Buffalo (they are 22nd in yards and 27th in scoring). Their defense is great, but the Pats are the best offense they have faced thus far too.

I think Flacco has alot more weapons than Fitzpatrick... But the Ravens corners are suspect, and Welker will be playing this game not like the playoffs...

They've also faced some good defenses, in all fairness to them. Although, Flacco hasn't looked very good.

i am a little scared for this game but at the same time it's after the bye week whichi s good cause BB does good things in the bye and there is the revenge factor and the confidence factor so it should be a great a game

I'm less worried about the ravens then i was the fins. We have two weeks to prepare and there is the revenge factor. That being said i seem to remember that BB teams don't usually do well after the break. But I'm Sure wacking Bmore for that play off embarrassment will provide extra motivation

Ravens offense scored very late on the Squeelers @ heinz, against a team with a pretty good D. I would not say they are a lousy offense, they have some weapons, particularly at WR and TE.

I am hoping / expecting a revenge / grudge match similar to the beat down we put on Pitt in the playoffs after the Halloween debacle.

I think that the defense took a step last night and after the bye week it will take another step forward.

I thought the Pats had a good record after the bye? but the last poster claimed differently. Does someone know where I could look that up?

I am with you on this...I thought they did play well after bye weeks....

The Ravens are really good.

If we can find a way to beat them, the future is bright.

In the Brady era (not including Doug Flutie in 2000), the Pats are 8-1 after a bye week. Granted 4 of those wins came versus Buffalo but they beat Miami last year after the bye.

The Pats record make me even think of going bi!

Oh wait. My bad. Never mind.

I meant the first game back after a bye week and i'm going from memory. I remember being surprised that we didn't have a better record that first game after the bye

Umm... That is the record for the first game back after the bye...it doesn't get much better.

i think the big worry is light and vollmer and koppen. the fins pass rushers yesterday really gave them a headache , so suggs and ngata will be a handful like they were in the playoff game. otherwise it might be a long day for brady...

OK i don't know what the hel i was thinking of then I'm getting so old that maybe i'm blending the pre and post BB together

No problem, we've all suffered from CRS.......can't remember .....stuff
In that same vein, playing in Detroit on Thanksgiving, has one advantage of a min-bye week or a three day head start on the next game, Jets at Foxboro....

They only scored 17 points vs. the Steelers and that late TD drive started on the Steeler's 40 yard like. It wasn't like it was a 70-80 yard TD drive. That game was a pure defensive battle.

Cincy held them to 10 points and they gave up 24 to the Pats' offense and 23 to the Browns' offense. The Bengals did hold the Panthers' to seven, but stopping the Panthers' offense isn't a great task.

The Ravens' offense has been surprisingly mediocre thus far this season. With more receiving weapons, Flacco seems to have regressed. Ray Rice after a stellar season last year has been very average (230 yards, 3.9 YPC, and 0 TDs). BJGE has 15 less yards, 0.7 more YPC, and 2 more TDs than Rice this season and BJGE hasn't been the lead back until Fred Taylor went down last week.
