5400 to 7200 RPM? That's like the speed of a Dremel. It's 15 times faster than a helicopter spins it's blades. There's no way any football spins close to that speed.

From 5400 to 7200 rpms? WTH? If Brady throws a football with 5400 rpms spin on it somebody better check the calibration of his bionic arm. I can't imagine a football having more than 300 rpms during a typical throw unless it's one of Manning's duck balls which might have 10 or 20 rpms.
