Way too many players from Rutgers. They are not even a good college team. I just D Rodgers is not a good pro or it will suck even worse that BB had the end of the draft on auto pick.

More people making wild claims without knowing what they are talking about. Can people please stop with the "Rutgers is a terrible team" BS? In 2012, Rutgers had a very, very good defense. Some of the team stats / rankings from last year:

- 10th overall in Total Defense (311 yds allowed / gm)
- 54% completion percentage against
- Forced 32 turnovers

And drum roll please...
- Allowed 14.1 points per game (which was good enough for 4th best in the country)

Just because people aren't familiar with Rutgers or don't regularly watch their games regularly (if ever), doesn't mean that they have a bad defense or have a bad team.

Bring them on. I hope he signs any undrafted Rutgers defensive players to UFA deals. They play in a pro-style defense (put in place originally by Schiano) and they were an extremely underrated defense last year. Look up the team stats / rankings and you'll see that they were a top 10 defense in the country last year.

That's the problem. They weren't average. They were good on defense last year on defense and their stats prove it. Seriously, how can you call the team with the 4th best scoring defense and 10th best total defense only "average"?
