Bro, Seymour was getting pushed back all night. Read Dr. Z's column.
So, you need to cite a person who likely has no more football sense than you, who watched the game on TV like you, and who gets paid to turn out words in order to make a living. So, that's objective? And since you don't have confidence in your opinion, you need to quote a source who possesses little more knowledge and has access to the same information as the average poster on this board. Good work.

NSA, I've asked you three questions in this thread and you have ignored them. When you are saying the Pats D is terrible and not Super Bowl quality, I ask you to identify another team whose D is better than ours and who also has an offiense equal to or better than ours..and you don't.
Then, I ask you to name one Patriot who had an outstaidng game last night...and you dont.
I ask you to name three Pats who are int eh top 2 or 3 at their postion in the league...and you don't.

You claim to be a Pats fan, ahd yet, I haen't seena single post where you aren't tearing them, or one of more of their players, down. And when you get called on it, you repeat your gibbersih, and throw in how you are not a Pats "homer".
Answer the Qs..

Can I ask you one question. Here's Richard's cap figure for 2007

$ 6,706,720.00

Are you happy with the production that you're getting out of Richard when you look at an astromical cap total like this? I'm not and NSA isn't. We're fans, and we're just commenting as fans on what we expect to see production wise, that's all. I don't think he's just trashing the guy for the sake of doing it.

Sorry, but that's precisely what he's doing, and he's got the sheep like yourself following him.

Well, while I wait for NSA to answer what should take a true Pats fan about ten seconds to do, I will be happy to adress your question, and then maybe next time you see your little brother, tell him he can answer my questions when he gets a chance.

I am fine with what Sey is doing. He has played great in the past, he was hurt in the begining of the season, and the team is 12-0. I have said this before, the D has issues, but less issues than most Ds out there, and when coupled with the outstanding offense we have, I am fine with it. Yes, I wish he had 6 sacks and 3 fumbles recoveries, etc. But, when it came time to shut down the Ravens last night, he and the others did it..or did you miss those 3 and outs in the 4th last night? who was on the D line during those sequences?

No, I am raising vaild concerns over what I feel is play that doesn't equate to the dollar sum that we are paying to get. Will you be happy if we lose Samuel over money? I won't, especially considering the production that we have been getting from Seymour, who was paid to be one of the top 3-5 defensive linemen in football. His play needs to improve big time.

WHAT DO YOU WANT?

Don't rip a guy for not meeting expectations without stating what the expectations are. You can just say anyone sucks (or is great) and nobody can carry on an intelligent conversation since they don't know what your value system is. Do you want sacks/tackles/interceptions/break dancing?

For example, a reasonable person could say that Warren had a poor game also. But that doesn't take into account that the Ravens ran away from him all game.

I love it..you STILL haven't answered the questions I asked you.

Maybe I should have not made them so difficult.....

Oh I watched the game, I've watched every snap from this team for 15 years. I think I got 2 hours sleep last night I was so worked up by the end of that tilt. Ya, I saw the 3 and outs but what you fail to mention is that Richard really didn't have much to do with it. Dean Pees stacked the line/box with a full 8/9 guys knowing what the Ravens were going to do. I saw Rodney snuff out that key third down throw to the right flat and I saw 8 guys stuff the run, not #93, he was one of the 8-9 guys in the box.

I agree with everything you're saying about the issues on D, sure, they're not playing all that great, but I think BB will have it corrected and that the issues are correctable. I think this thread is more about Richard Seymour's production and how that equates to his FAT cap number, nothing more, nothing less.

What a surprise a thread like this coming from "National Sports Advisors". Exactly what sports do you give advise to? Are you a paid consultant?

That's quite the handle you have given to yourself as a user name. Mine describes me perfectly. But I'm wondering why such the loftly user name?

Both Seymour and AD were having problems with teh Ravens blocking shemes. However they got it corrected on the last two series of the game. I was watching that situation closely in the 2nd half and it appears that the Ravens were doubling Seymour and AD while getting another blocker between Tedy and the hole. It was a well thought out and well executed plan, until the Patriots finally were able to make some adjustments.

Bro, Seymour was getting pushed back all night. Read Dr. Z's column. He gets paid to make plays too, let's be honest. How many tackles for losses has he made this year? How many hurries? How many sacks? How many forced fumbles? Seymour's job is NOT to lead the league in sacks. I understand that. However, he was pushed around last night and hasn't done anything all season. Sorry, but it's true.

Once again because you have comprehension issues the 3-4 deffence is schemed for the LB's to make the plays not dline. Pitt the other 3-4 team in the league top nine tackles or sackers are LB's or DB's, there top dl tackle wise is Keisel 29 tackles 2 sacks, The pats top nine tacklers are LB's and dbs top d-lineman TY warren 37 T and 2 sacks. Big Sey 11 tackles in four games which would put him on pace for 33 tackles in 12 games not bad for someone coming off an injury.
Now obviously the run D was awfull but thats team defence. I don't know how many games you get to see in person but trust me having been a season ticket holder since 86 watching on tv gives you no sence of line play none at all!

So, you would agree with me that Rodney was outstanding last night?
Who else would you put on that list? Since I can't get NSA to say a single good thing about a single Patriot player, lets see who you think was great last night.

Interesting, and further reason why I read this board and not the sports pages anymore. thanks.

Defensively? Yes, I thought Rodney was great last night.

BTW, here you go, a list of the cap numbers of each player at each position, check out the DE's

And, ratchet up their intenstiy level. I think that part of the problem was Balt. was really psyched up for the game, whereas we were a bit flat, then when they made that long, 50 yard completion where Boller almost got sacked, the place went nuts.
Five bucks says NSA never answers any of our questions, he must be too busy advising his sports clients: "No, Susie, hold the badmitten racket in your other hand. But dont worry, gym period is almost over and then it will be nap time."

ROTFLMAO.....

you really can't do it, can you? :rocker:

Can't do what? What are you asking me brother?

Hey, we're of the same cloth bro, we live, eat and love this team. How much sleep did you get last night? I'm on 2 hours right now.

Seacoast Fan don't ever expect adn an answer from NST (national Sports Troll) she's/he's been asked be me several times in the Maroney threads and never answered he/she's never once answer jsut whines and complains then ignores the fact or questions put in front of him. If he/she would accually respond to the questions asked then sh/she might accually get somewhere on here

And what i saw in the gam was jsut about evey time i saw Seymour he had 2 linemen on him and was still making a few tackles and pressure Boller. There are too many people that know nothign about the accual game of football and just look at stats and what the media says. I mean serious how serious can you take someone that Quotes known pats hater DR.Z
