the Eagles announcers are talking about how surprised they are that the Saints traded Sproles for just a 5th round pick. It's like they don't know that the Saints had already told Sproles they were releasing him. They would've traded him for a 7th if that was all anyone was offering.

Then he started talking about how this is Sanchez's fourth offense. He named Schottenheimer, Mornhingweg ... then trailed off because he realized that he was wrong and just said good thing he's healthy now. The Eagles guys are even worse than ours.

They're experimenting with personnel in the preseason. I don't know how that translates to him having a hard time with his decisions.

He's not Scarnecchia, so therefore he's stupid and doesn't know what he's doing.

The Philly broadcast shows more replays of the plays than the Patriots broadcasts. But this is not the first time I've noticed this. So it's more like the Patriots broadcast doesn't show enough replays of plays compared to other broadcasters around the league.

There is experimenting and then there is throwing paint up against the wall to see what sticks. I hope you are right but I have my doubts.

I would say that playing guys out of position and playing guys who won't make the team is pretty indicative of rote preseason experimentation.
