Didn't the Colts player hot it from the 2 yard line through the EZ?

That is a touchback.

What am I missing here?

Dierdorf is wrong I think. I'd rather take the safety than give the Colts the ball near the goal line. Right?

Dierdorf is drunk at his retirement party. 2 is better than 7.

Hmmm.

Given the ball sailing do within our 5, I think a safety was the best thing we could hope for.

Odds are they would have scored a TD, and 99.5% they'd at least get a FG.

Now we allow 2, but are kicking it away, where we have a good chance at stopping them.

Shouldn't that have been an incomplete pass, turnover on downs?

Question:

Why is it a safety and not a touchback when it was a Colts player who knocked the ball through the back of the end zone?

Because Colts didn't have possession.

LS better be on IR after the game or something.

Chris Kluwe ?@ChrisWarcraft 4m
Also, as a punter, you knock that ball out of the back of the endzone for the safety every time. Don't listen to Dan.

ffs Dennard and DMAC:bricks::bricks::bricks:

Dierdorf is an idiot. Does he actually hear whats coming out of his mouth?

Dierdorf has completely lost his mind.

WTF

He would have had the INT!

STUPID MISTAKES

Dang. Missed opportunity for an INT.

mccourty stupid

Colts never possessed it. Safety is the right call.

Nothing like McCourty breaking up the INT - REGROUP - PLEASE!!!

That was a fumble - doesn't a fumble through the end zone come out to the 20?

Only if the defense recovers then fumbles it out of the end zone

Needed to intercept that

Need a stop here. Would be huge to get the ball back and get a TD or FG before the half AND get the ball back to start the 3rd

Collins is going to be a superstar
