Fields is definitely outgunning Lawrence in this one. Is Fields making a case for himself to be the #1 pick ? Clemson does not have the weapons they’ve had in the past, especially at WR. I think they are finished. They don’t have the horses to come back from 35-14.

Ridder’s game today was a microcosm of his season and career. You can see the promise. You can see the talent. But he’s not in the stratosphere of the top 6 QBs (yet). I think Ridder is nowhere near his ceiling though. So I think he is a true boom or bust prospect. I think he will be overdrafted, meaning the top 6 will probably go 1st round, and someone will take him in round 2 because they need a QB. But I think he’s a 3rd round QB. Not even as polished as Stidham coming out.

He needs a good QB coach in the NFL and probably needs to sit for 2 years. But he certainly is an intriguing prospect.

If he goes late round 1 to a good team he’ll have a couple years to develop.

He had a ton of hype coming out of hs and is enormous. Very athletic. People have been waiting on him for a while now.

Passing to a blanketed receiver in the pros usually doesn't have the same outcome.
Tompa more often than not throws the ball away in such cases
