Out of that list, I would take: Greer, Robinson, and Hayden for CBs. Sean Jones or Otogwe (Jones being preferred) at the safety position. Scott or Davis in the linebacking corps, and Nate Washington for receiver.

Hayden's gonna be franchised and isn't worth it. Robinson i'd jump all over, though.

Heck, Sanders might not even re-sign, then safety will really be a priority ...

Unless Sanders is coming back at vet minimum, I'd look at acquiring an upgrade either in free agency or via the draft.

Chris McAlister is going to be a cap casualty for the Ravens. I know he's on the wrong side of 30 and I do know how the Deltha O'Neal experiment turned out, but I saw every single Ravens game this season and McAlister was actually playing very well until Marvin Harrison burned him continuously in the Colts game. I can't even blame him for that because the entire Ravens defense was awful that day. Of course, he then got benched by Harbaugh for some odd reason and got hurt that week against Miami and went on IR, but I see no harm bringing him in for training camp and seeing what's left in him.

Hey, you stole my idea!

Seriously, I was thinking of starting a "The Pats should sign Mike Vick" thread as a joke, but then decided too many people would see the headline without reading the post and not realize I was kidding. So then I was going to talk about it in this thread as a prank, but you stole my idea!

Chris McCallister would be the best guy to grab. If he isnt quick enough to be back at corner, stick him at safety and watch him flourish as a 32 year old.

Although i still know he can cover, much better than the trash we had this year.

Jabari Greer and Dunta Robinson are also possibilities. Personally Dunta I think is the best fit, if he is affordable

I'd like us to go after McAllister... a little bit old but the guy can still play IMO

Gotta say aside Nmamdi as a "shoot for the moon" candidate, Greer feels to me like the most likely vet CB pick-up in FA.

The Broncos just set this thread up for any easy three more pages... lol.

Denver Broncos cut ties with expensive defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson - ESPN

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- High-priced defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson is among six players cut by the Denver Broncos.

Robertson, acquired last offseason from the New York Jets, was set to count $16 million against the team's $123 million cap.

Also released Monday by new general manager Brian Xanders were linebackers Niko Koutouvides ($3.06 million) and Jamie Winborn ($2.25 million), safety Marquand Manuel ($1.33 million), defensive end John Engelberger ($2.18 million) and tight end Nate Jackson (less than $1 million).
