It was bad enough when Criqui was muffing Todd Light's name repeatedly. I thought I'd lost it on the HOF game the other night. I mean, if Cassel was playing I was sure I'd have bothered to watch more than 2 minutes of it...but he kept insisting it was KC and The Chiefs vs. NO...

First string OL is scary right now. What is really scary is Solder looks overmatched. Dante ha his work cut out of him if Bill can't get Waters to show up and get at least one of Vollmer or Mankins back on the field by week 1.

Vereen looking good against the scrubs. Interesting that Bill sent Hoyer back out there to get something positive going.

Nice play Brian.

Judging by the starting OL that the Pats used against in the first preseason game last year, I wouldn't be panicking yet.

For every one of those I read three that said erratic accuracy, poor decision making, jaw dropping throw followed by one that sails and another in the dirt, struggles picking up the blitz.

The "erratic accuracy" was on long pass, not short or intermediate.
The only thing I've seen on the blitz pick-ups is when they are delayed blitzes. And even Koppen and Brady have struggled with those.. So I can't fault the kid there..

Well that sucks. I was looking forward to him making some major contributions this year; on the rare occasions that he's actually on the field he typically looks good.

On the bright side, that's 1 more spot on the roster that someone else gets to earn.

Too bad about Fletcher. I am hoping that is all it is. Looked like his knee dislocated on the play because his foot was spun around nearly backwards. You could tell from the play that ligaments were torn, but I was expecting to hear all three ligaments torn.

I thought it was Jon Gruden - is this that widespread of a thing? Seems like it might have taken on a life of its own.
