Mallett needs to know a lot of things. Unfortunately, he's a coach's son and still doesn't know them at age 24.

This OL, on the other hand. Terrible.

Yeah, he has all the physical tools, he needs to settle down and not try to make a play where all is lost.

Positives.

Jones has impressed in his first spot light appearance. I'm trying to cool my enthusiasm but I can't. He is awesome so far and from the short piece of work I've seen in preseason. He is the player I've envisioned wanting on this team for awhile. Hoping he keeps it up and takes it to that superstar level by seasons end.

Mayo is the overlooked underdog. He's everywhere and maybe by getting him more pieces it's paying off.

I like Gregory so far. Seems to have a knack for making plays and deceptive closing speed.

Ridley looks good. He may be the anser.

Negatives.

It's preseason and obviously the oline needs to get healthy and more comfortable out there.

You don't .....that int wasn't his fault......

If it was Brady or Hoyer out there, you'd blame the OL

I really believe that Mallet has an elite arm. Who knows if he can put together the rest of the skills that make an NFL qb, but on pure passing he's not your average backup.
