I love how Don Criqui was drooling over the guy and what great strides he made in the offseason right before he messed up a bunch of times.

FWIW I'm not nearly as worried as everyone else seems to be about Solder. He is a work in progress. He will (slowly) get better. He has good athleticism and a seemingly good work ethic.

Yeah I am cautiously optimistic about the defense. They look good but I gotta keep in mind that there is minimal scheming in these games and good play is usually a reflection of sound fundamentals and technique.
