How can a players only list not include Hannah?

Ok, I really like this thread...

So, I am going to go three ways:

The Obvious List:

Bill Belichick
Tom Brady
Bill Parcells
Drew Bledsoe

Why Bledsoe & Parcells? Because they brought our franchise to respectability in the dawn just before the bright sunlight of the Brady/Belichick era.

The Star Players Only List:

Tom Brady
Andre Tippett
Steve Nelson
Drew Bledsoe

The Hardass Players That Just Always Made My Day, Win or Lose, List:

Tedy Bruschi
Steve Grogan
Troy Brown
Rodney Harrison

Given some of the fine players we've seen on Patriots teams, cutting down to 4 and leaving some deserving faces off our version of Rushmore proved exceptionally difficult. I desperately wanted to find a place for Troy Brown on that list.

Agreed.

I don't see how any of these four could be excluded from a list of four.

The original Mt. Rushmore celebrates great (or if you disagree, then supposedly-great) leaders. Given that, I like the idea of:

Sullivan
Kraft
Belichick
Brady
