IMO Woods is not a guaranteed lock - Most likely to be on the roster?yes

A lock? - NO

Alexander is the biggest question mark of all of them - 50/50 if you ask me

I suspect that most of us would be fine if we kept 10 linebackers, as we have in the past.

I would also say that most would be fine with 6 DL's if we were convinced that we had one or two on the Practice Squad or speed dial. BTW, do we have any backup linemen with Practice Squad time left?

I think Hobson will get more time and I'm hoping Guyton remains .. he deserves it.

Picked Guyton, Redd and Izzo.

I was delighted we signed Hobson, but by all accounts he just can't grasp the Playbook. In contrast, Redd and Guyton, especially the latter, have shown promise and talent. Aside from that, Izzo is still one of the best ST players in the league, and his experience and knowledge is invaluable. Face it, he's going to see little if any playing time. Better to groom the young LB's and give them snaps.

If Hobson can't get it, then we need a veteran 3rd ILB who can play our system. IMHO, the choices are Alexander, Seau or both.

Hobson, Izzo, Guyton....Seau gets signed after someone gets hurt with a long term injury....ahhhhhhhh the shadow roster!! gotta love it.
