I know this take won't resonate here with the BB is Satan crowd, but in BB's defense, NC is actually improving. They look better every week. They started the season looking unbelievable on their opening drive against TCU and then looked godawful for the rest of that game and the next 4 games(even though they had 2 wins). They actually looked like a well prepared team against Cal and looked even better against top 20 ranked Virginia.

No. Just no.

Did you even watch the Cal game? They looked atrocious. It was probably the ugliest P4 game you’ll see all season. Don’t be fooled just because it was a close game; both teams sucked and played like ****. If they had put up the same quality of play against a better team, it would have been another blowout.

I agree their most recent game was their best showing of the season so far, but I always say it speaks volumes when a team thumps their chest over a game they “kept close” instead of, you know, actually winning.

I thought they had to win 6 against FBS competition. They're 2-5 but one of those wins is against an FCS team so I think they really need to win all 5 of their remaining games.

I can't remember when the NCAA added too many bowl games where it became a thing but...

To qualify for bowl eligibility, teams must win at least six games, and they can only count one win against FCS opponents. If there are too many bowl-eligible teams, some will be left out of postseason play.
