The 2013 NFL Combine Thread

Jordan - Mayo - Hightower

More like:

Jordan - McCourty - Wilson - Dennard

when he drops back to 225lb

I still don't get the love Jordan's getting. Good player (in the 2nd round). No way I take him top 10.

Should be obvious but it needs to be said, the 10 yard split and, later on, the jumps are far more predictive of pass rushing success than a simple 40 time.

It's ok, you'll come around eventually.

I agree. He is an incredible athlete, but as a football player I just can't figure him out. I don't see him in the top 10 like someone on NFLN said. I think those guys have 150 players in the top 2 rounds.

Still don't care what Hunt ran, he is a freak athlete but a mediocre football player. In the 4th/5th round I wouldn't mind him, but in the top 2 rounds no way.

Hunt's sort of a mini binky for me. Since he is estonian and all that.

A little trivia - Hunt translates into Wolf

He a favorite of mine as well. You know what that means? We'll draft an offensive lineman

Lemonier just matched Jordan with a 4.53. He met with the Pats FWIW.

Might have to watch some Georgia Tech. TJ Barnes has some real athleticism for a 369lber.

And Jordan Hill is the best value DT in the draft as a 3-tech.

Hunt is having a great workout, as expected but he is REALLY REALLY REALLY raw. I wouldn't be too happy if we draft him at #29.

Dion Jordan did look REALLY good in those drills. Easily the best on show.

For me, Ansah, D Jones, Jordan, TJ Barnes, David Bass, Montori Hughes and Lemonier looked the best. My guy Armonty Bryant didn't do too badly (those arms )

You guys know when the vert, 3-cone, and SS are starting?

Never understood the Moore hype. He plays too slow. Too leggy.

Coulda, shoulda woulda. He chose not to compete so you can't give him any recognition for that. Moe did compete, in every drill and was the clear winner in all the change of direction drills. Austin did run the 20 yard shuttle, and considering he is faster and has a better 10-yard split than Moe, if he had better change of direction ability he would have had a faster shuttle time. That was not the case and Moe was the fastest at the combine in that drill.

Coulda, shoulda woulda? Not sure if you're being serious. Tavon is already going higher than Moe and thats not even a question, he ran himself out of the Pats range yesterday. Nobody has any doubts about his lateral agility and thats probably why he didn't run. Moe looked good everywhere yesterday but that 4.7 is going to scare a lot of teams away.

Including the Patriots. We don't draft 4.7 WR's. We barely draft 4.5 ones.
