That was a simple matter of survival on a short week with injuries against a division foe fighting for its life, and avoiding further attrition. I don't care how ugly it was.
Seriously. Very rarely does a game versus the Jets end in a safe or blowout win, no matter the season (nor does a blowout win mean anything, given 2010). Especially on a Thursday night. And the Jets running offense (especially Ivory) is much better than it's given credit for.
Now they get a mini bye week to get Stork and Connolly back. Only issue is linebacker. A win is a win, especially against a hated division rival on a Thursday. That game wasn't sickening, it was pretty damn entertaining and worked out well in the end.
