lets hope

we can find plenty of WR at 6'4 who are faster and are actually doing agility drills to show

I had never heard of the guy. I just looked him up. He played quarterback in high school and then three years of division 2. He might have a lot of upside with good coaching.

Show the statistics and also make sure you include Evans playing with a Heisman trophy winning QB while T Mac played with a 5’8 friend whom he carried to college.
Here is 2023 Mike Evans, bottom right in this chart is where you want to be, teams play little man against you and when they do you dominate. Evans is at another level.

Michael Pittman is a good ceiling for Tet. He ran a 4.52 forty, he is similar size, he puts up good numbers. He is also below average in separation though he'd not quite as bad as Tet has been in college. But that's probably the best outcome for Tet. Tet is not Mike Evans though he has a chance to be Pittman.

I heard Tesla stock is plummetting.

Evans was on a great team with other good WRs and a heisman winning QB?

Doesn’t T-Mac play with a 5’8 high school buddy and the rest of his team stinks! So T-Mac draws double coverage all game.

I don’t think T-Mac becomes another Evans, Evans was special…however I do see a lot of similarities to Evans in T-Mac’s game

I’m with you most of the time on it being a team game not a god QB, and Oline over shiny hood ornaments but judging a draft based on every other rookie in history is a crazy take. You can only draft who is available and just because Campbell would have been the 4th OT taken last year doesn’t change he is the consensus #1 this year. You admit to having not evaluated the class yet so listen to those who have. Every single player likely to be available at #4 has a question mark, a flaw, a potential reason they will bust. There are exactly 2 “A+” players and a QB that’s going to be drafted top 5 on hopes, prayers, and sadly no one better.

That leaves the Patriots in the unenviable position of getting first choice in a tier of players that are all equally questionable. Some don’t care about Tet’s lack of speed and consistent production, others like myself call it a deal breaker and wouldn’t draft him in the top 12. For some 4 years of elite production against the best the country offers outweighs Campbell’s holy crap historic small wingspan. Why draft an 8/10 RB when there are about (20) 7/10 RBs further down in the draft? Graham has some great stats and athletic ability but came in 30 lbs underweight, plus played next to a behemoth monster so how good will he be really? My personal favorite, after having watched tape, is a 20 year old dancing bear with feet that made me say wow multiple times, not to mention several nasty pancake blocks. Problem is Membou has only ever played RT. Can he make the switch? 20 is pretty young so that’s a gamble I am willing to take but plenty of players are one side only, wiping your ass with your left hand and all that.

Point is saying “there is always an A+ player at #4, just maybe not at a position of need” is not true this year. The Patriots just have first choice in a tier of question marks.
Membou all day over Campbell!

1 inch and 1/4. It's not that big a difference. And I posted the wingspan measurements above; you can verify them or not, but Harry had more reach. Regardless, I don't think Tet is the right choice unless we also have plans to bring in an actual outside receiver. I do like Tet though as an upgrade to Bourne.
Our math must be different.

Harry is 6’2 3/8 which is 74.375 inches.

Tet is 6’4 1/10 which is 76.1 inches

76.1 - 74.375 = 1.72 inches.

1 inch and 3/4 difference

T-Mac had a pretty poor college QB. I saw a lot of plays on video that broke down where he came back to the ball to give his QB a chance to make the play.

That's where he shines. He never gives up on the play and gives his QB that safety blanket to keep the play alive/chance at a 1st down. Catch radius is huge, body adjustment to the ball is also top tier.

I'm thinking he would do even better with Drake Maye as his QB, legit arm and accuracy to lay the ball to the spots where only T-Mac can get it.

Harry is 6’4”
At the NFL Combine, N'keal Harry measured in at 6'2 3/8" (189 cm), that is an accurate measurement.

Not surprised Harry never looked that tall.

Harry listed at 6’3-6’4 was perpetuated by his own people to embellish his draft stock when you visited a website with his profile.

His 6’2 3/8 or 74.375 inch measurement at the combine was taken with accuracy.

There's no blue chip OT. Graham is the closest that might be in reach on defense.
We'll have a better idea how many blue chip or potential blue chip tackles there are by April after all the Pro Days finish. Right now we're working off partial information.

Just as recently as 2022 there was a draft where exactly 1 QB was taken in the first round and it was at #20.

Ward at #1 is probably a reach. Sanders anywhere in the first round is probably a reach. It doesn't mean teams are going to trip over each other to give us a haul for him at 4.

You don't just punt on a draft because you don't like it in a historical context. That's not how any of this works.
Ward at #1 is a certainty unless he robs a convenience store between now and the draft. Jaxson Dart is flying up people's boards.

Some idiot thought he could teach Anthony Richardson how to pass and drafted him at #4. The 49ers traded three first round picks so they could draft Trey Lance at #3... don't assume some GM won't think he can fix Shedeur Sanders.

I didn't say punt on the draft, you know I didn't... I said don't reach for Tet at #4. You're infatuated with the player so now you're hearing things.

You also grade all players the same way no matter the year. A prospect who is a B- in 2021 is the same grade next year and the one after that. That's exactly how this works. Grading on a scale is not how it works, that's poor evaluation.

I hope you’re not referring to Ja’Lynn Polk as a “shiny gold ornament”

No sane person could watch college tape of Polk and come away impressed.

Wide receiver was the correct pick. Ladd McConkey.
Wolf came away impressed with Polk.

You skipped answering if you thought Maye is chicken for not throwing last year?
Drake Maye threw at the North Carolina pro day. He didn't hide.
This has nothing to do with a WR infatuation because that's not me. This is about you not liking Tet which is fine but then twisting things to fit your preference.
Reverse psychology doesn't work on me.

And saying I wouldn't like Tet if he had run a 4.3 forty, had exceptional agility drills and a 40 inch vertical is silly talk. I liked Julio Jones. I would use a 4th overall on him in a heartbeat... is he in this draft class?

Go read what I was saying about Tee Higgins and his 4.5 forty speed earlier this offseason, I didn't want to pay him either... and he is a proven NFL player.
The thing is I dropped Campbell off my wish list because of his arms but I would be thrilled if come Draft day Vrabel thinks his tape eliminates that concern and selects him. I really would prefer to fill LT before WR and protect Maye. It's just that based on what I've read I'm not prepared to just ignore the arms because the data seems pretty overwhelming.
Vrabel could be completely correct, maybe Campbell can play LT with his feet. Joe Thomas had 32" arms but made 8 All Pro Teams, 10 Pro Bowls and the Hall Of Fame. Great linemen block with their feet first and Campbell is a great athlete. I'd imagine there's some other very good OT's in this draft class as well.
