By Monday there will be link upon link, thread upon thread, meltdown upon meltdown......about how this "expert" or that is picking whoever the Patriots divisional round opponent is to beat them.

Embrace it. You want all of them picking against them. I pray there's a Curly Haired boyfriend article declaring how this isn't the March of the Tomato-cans. I hope Borges has one saying they'll lose 73-0. What's that you say? Felger says they can't contain Jackson or the pass rush of Watt and Clowney will make Brady look like Sanchez. Music to my ears.

Prisco's taking the Chargers, excellent. They've brought Tom Jackson out of retirement to say they hate their coach? Greg Doyle says they would be better off with Peyton?

BUT.........dozens of you will post about it anyway instead of laughing at it for what it is. Jealousy.

Man you really don't have a high opinion of us do you?

Always take who is playing the Pats. It’s the cool and trendy thing to do nowadays.

It's really not a subjective observation. There have been hundreds of these threads over the years. I've been guilty of propagating the click-bait when it's truly asinine so it's a warning to myself as well.

The CHB's (aka Shank Shaughnesssy's) shtick is always the same and the direct opposite of what's suggested here. He invariably writes that whoever is coming to Foxborough sucks, has no chance and is, in fact, the definition of a Tomato Can. He'll claim the NFL playoff format is rigged to favor the Patriots. Book it.

Avoid the nattering nabobs of negativity and all those conspiracy dudes out there filling the airwaves about how bad this team really is, how the game has passed BB by or how he does not know how to draft etc. etc.

Instead don those "Patriots Myopia" corrective eyeglasses and pinch yourself twice, as this has been a great ride and despite what is said the Pats will face whatever foe survives with a pretty good game plan and the team will be prepared to execute it..

One more thread about Rob Parker hating Patriots, I am going to explode.
I dare you madaphukar .....................

It is possible, I'm pretty sure, for a member of the media to pick a team other than the Pats without it being motivated by hate. Maybe that's where their analysis takes them?

If I were a fan of another team, especially an AFC team, I'd have so much Patriots fatigue at this point I might just stop caring. The AFC title game has been renamed "The New England Invitational."

Who cares. It's all noise.

Its all 24/7 talk about the NFL playoffs and somebody has to take the position that the patriots will lose to create discussion.

Works like a charm every time that somebody gets all mad and offended.

Yup, we even have people pre-emptively getting offended like OP.

Not really a big deal though is it? The posts you despise are pretty obvious by the title so just don’t read them.

The stupid number of posts complaining about people complaining is as annoying as the posts of people complaining!

In Brady's previous 16 years as the starting QB, the Pats won 5 titles...and didn't win 11. Picking against them isn't exactly a bold take. Championships are freaking hard to come by, even for those who are clearly the best at it.

Regards,
Chris

Just don't do it with your money

That’s the great thing about being an analyst I guess. Would like to see some of those tirds have money on the line and make bold Pats predictions.
