And now Javy sees action in his first game with the Sox as Mirabelli goes down with a bum ankle. Wonder if they are gonna carry 3 catchers for the playoffs...

I doubt that they would carry all three into the playoffs. It all depneds on Wakefield, if he is going to pitch, than Mirabelli is a shoe in, however if something happens to Wake, then I would have to go with Javy. Now if Javy starts hitting lights out, that might force their hand.

Javy''s hr and rbi's don't look too bad, considering he never played. Let him hit in Fenway with these other guys hitting around him and he'll be all right.
