I thought for sure that these two areas would be addressed via the draft, but what do I know??
Think we are thin at both positions...
The only player to consider was Fiedorowicz who went 65 but he went higher than expected. This year was a really weak class in TEs and agree there was noone available at 62.The only TEs worth a darn were gone by 62. Don't know about LB. There were guys available fairly late.
These two just confirms what I have been saying. This TE class was very limited. BB was smart enough not to waste picks on Hoomanwanui clones, and I applaud him for that.
Christian Jones (3) (!!! Most here would have been delighted with the "value" of drafting him at #105. Has to be more to that story than we know. Injury/character risks?)
Did you know that he reportedly failed a Drug Test at the Combine?
That wouldn't seem to account for such a precipitous fall, but who knows?
He did, but so did a ton of players who didn't slide nearly as dramatically: Telvin Smith, Timmy Jernigan, Seantrel Henderson, etc.
Right. Like I said: It wouldn't seem to account for it. Just wondering if you knew.
