So, at the moment, most of the TEs look more like receiving threats than blockers, with the possibility that ASJ could be the best option as a blocker.
Watson, LaCosse, and Anderson all look like move TEs. Does this sound correct?
No, Watson's a solid in-line blocking tight end and has been for much of his career. While he's still capable as a receiver, blocking is where he's made his money for the last few years. He's certainly a much more capable blocker than Rudolph. Sefarian-Jenkins is also a good blocker, and Izzo was drafted as a blocking tight end. Anderson and Lacosse aren't very good blockers, but I actually think the three tight ends most likely to end up on the roster are pretty good blockers.
