I wanted Abdullah in the draft - who'd have thunk we already had him. That TD of his reminded me of Catherine Zeta-Jones in the scene with the lasers in Entrapment.
You must have been giddy on the play where Mason was out in front of Blount. Unbelievable upside he has, you nailed that in the predraft.

BB had that "I don't want to talk to you people" look on his face. LOL.
I don't blame you BB, I wouldn't want to talk to those douchebags either.

boring game....surprised it was that close!
honestly we had the ball only once in the third..also started out slow otherwise we score 50 again.

sucks that gronk didnt score!...would like to see him get more involved. same with scott chandler.

I loved Mason from the first time I saw him. I have a thing for linemen with quick feet; Terron Amsted, Jonathan Cooper and now Mason are probably my three favourite linemen that I've scouted. David Johnson had two TDs today too and Byron Jones looked the real deal against The Gronk. Fair to say I feel good about some of my binkies this year.

I was a bit curious about the end of the half kickoff with three seconds left. Why wouldn't you want to squib one and burn the clock on the kickoff?

Instead they gave Dallas one play to take a Hail Mary if they wanted. Of course with weeden they just ran a kneel down, but they could have taken a shot.

Can't really hail mary from your own 20. As long as the kick doesn't go out the sidelines it really doesnt matter. If they fair catch it, they start with 3 seconds from deep in their own territory and if they bring it back they wont have another play.

Martin with the ridic catch........ Can we talk about BB's personnel decisions since Pioli left ? I dunno how much say Caserio has, but the FA/trades/drafts have been better in the last few years.

I think Caserio is essentially half of our GM (other half is BB). Not sure what the actual ratio is though.

If you remove Butler's coverage snaps from the slot, he's been as good as any CB in the NFL on the outside. He also has the ****y/confident attitude to be the next elite CB.

Love this kid. He's allowed the defense to play this well and is looking like an all time UDFA find.

It's just awesome that we haven't had to revert to a soft zone defense. As long as the #2-4 CBs are decent, this defense is great.
I actually think Butler has made us not miss Revis through 4 games. He has been a top 10 CB in the NFL this season.

And don't forget that our two most successful acquisitions in the last year or so are Mike Lombardi guys in Sheard and Lewis.

BB has been "coaching" Brady up on those press conferences.
Like Coach, like QB

Brady : brief. BB and Brady wearing the ties. Business.

F-U. All of you. All of you except Melissa Stark. I like Melissa.

Now I can go to various Cowboys forums and listen to people complain about losing a game everyone in the world knew we would lose.

On the Cowboys forum I can see this one Pats fan getting completely uninvited insults and some Cowboys fan repeating some dumb thing about Brady and saying he's "not salty."

He is definitely a top CB when you normalize his performance to his contract. If we can have 80% of Revis at 20% of the cost it just bolsters our depth elsewhere. I know we would like to have elite players at each position but the reality of the salary cap makes it impossible. Now would I take Butler over Revis for the same price ? Of course not, but as usual everything has to be seen in context.

Admittedly it was only against Brandon Weeden but not hearing Jordan Richards or Justin Coleman mentioned negatively once during this game is a good thing for rookies in the secondary. Both are very promising and, in Richards' case, a lesson in not jumping to conclusions on draft day.

Come on dude, remove yourself from fantasy island. Revis is a hall of famer. We are better with him on our team. Of course we miss him. Butler is playing very well, but he has not proven he can shutdown a teams elite number 1 like revis

Imagine if it were both Butler and Revis...ahh well.
