Super Bowl 31 Replay On NFL Network Today (Thurs) At 1:00 PM

My first superbowl party hosted.

As bad as that game hurt they still battled. Mistakes to go around. Blown coverage on Brooks for the 80 yarder was a no no. The KO return. Despite 4 ints I still believed there was a chance when Martin ran up the middle to pull within 1 score. Yeah, they lost, but in no way did they embarrass themselves. Except Parcells in the way he left.

Now 85 was a little different. I've come to appreciate that Bears team and being able to watch Payton get his ring. But as a 14 year old kid it broke my heart. Changed my whole thought process of teams of destiny nonsense. No such thing. But those 3 playoff wins as a Wild Card were insanely fun to watch.

Like I said before that was the worst coached game I've ever seen by a Super Bowl team.

Parcells basically shrugged about the loss after the game. Tells you where his priorities were.

After a mostly disastrous 1990's, I was thrilled the Pats were even in a Super Bowl. After watching Dallas and their big 3 (Aikman, Smith & Irvin) go from a bad team to a dynasty, I was hoping the Pats found their big 3 (Bledsoe, Martin & Glenn).

The Dynasty came, just with a different cast of characters.

Crazy how good our first 3 sb opponents were, all juggernauts.

This one really couldve been different without the kr td. Momentum + being down multiple scores as opposed to one.

Indeed, but there was this team that was down 28-3 in the third quarter...
