Sterling Moore Gets First Start, and Separates Devin McCourty's Shoulder
By: Ian Logue

Obviously anytime you get your first NFL start, it's nice to go out there, make an impact, and leave your mark on the field. Unfortunately it's also nice when the mark you leave doesn't sideline one of your team's best players....

Well, at least we know he can hit. Now BB just has to get him to hit the OTHER guy.

I thought he looked good.WAY better than Brown/Barrett/Scrub we had before. Good angles, made his tackles and covered a lot of ground

Work in progress but a definite plus there

What crap. The guy comes in and plays a good game and you have to dog on him.

It's not like McCourty has been stopping anybody out there anyways.

He looked better in every single phase of the game than those three... except he knocked out our best CB for a number of weeks.

He should have laid out Plex...would have erased some SB memories.

What's terrible is to be penalized for roughing your own player. Burres was already down.

The other terrible call (non-call) in the game was on the play before the second field goal when Welker was all but mugged in the end zone so that Brady had to throw to a truly covered receiver. The Jets announcers said "well, we stole 7 there"

I think Arrington have been the best CB for the Pats this season. He has certainly made more positive plays, and they don't test him that much.

Arrington has had a VERY good season this year, but he's clearly the #2 CB. Hell, I'd go so far to say that when McCourty is humming, as he was last year, Arrington can't carry his jock. His our clear-cut #1 CB and he's out because Moore mistimed his hit.
