Stephen Gostkowski appreciation thread

A few fun facts:

• Gostkowski has 101 points in the first nine games of the season, and is 24/25 on FGs for the season. He's only the fourth player in NFL history with 100 points in the first 9 games of a season.
• If he keeps up that pace, he will have the second highest scoring total in NFL history, behind only a certain "classy" ex-Charger, ex-JEST RB.
• He now stands just six points behind the #2 Patriot in scoring all-time, Gino Cappelletti. . . .
• . . . and just 34 points behind Vinatieri at #1.
• The kickoff Gostkowski put into the stands this week probably wasn't his longest one ever. That honor goes to the 2008 @Miami game when he was forced to rekick from the 25, and kicked it through the endzone . . . over 85 yards.

A remarkable performance in that wind. Nice kickoffs too, blasting them with the wind, scooting them against — although that one that went out of bounds just after it reached the end zone was a little scary.
