Stefon Diggs visiting Patriots

Diggs used the Patriots to heat up his market and Vrabel and Wolf used Diggs to make it look like they are really trying on offense to the fans

Can't wait for Amari Cooper or Hopkins or Keenan Allen coming in on a 1-year "prove-it" overpay until they get halfway through camp and hang it up.

That clip that RealFan posted is the exact reason I can't stand him. Get's in the endzone, runs his suck and costs his team 15 yards. My guess is Vrabel will have him on a short leash.
I love it when players do really stupid crap like that, as long as they aren't Patriots.

Depressing

Yeah Diggs isn’t signing. If he was they would have closed it. Please don’t sign Amari Cooper though. He’s cooked.

How long do we think it will be before the tweet where he signed with another team?

I'd be OK with Keenan Allen on a 1yr deal.

On the surface it seems A) Physically he is not in a place where the team is comfortable making a commitment B) They could not come to terms or C) Combination of both.

There....I've covered the obvious scenarios.
Almost certainly B, and no fault of Diggs. This is the cheapest team in the NFL we're talking about.

He ain’t signing.
Yep, I highly doubt he will and he won't be very effective even if they did this year. ACL guys need at least two years before they are back to anything great.

But yeah, once he left, he ain't coming back. People need to stop with the theater BS. They are doing their due diligence and if it doesn't work it doesn't work. People don't like wasting their time, even the Pats and their front office.

I don't see how they can strike a deal before seeing him work out, and who knows when that will be. Only been 5 months since his surgery.

Agree. My assumption is they conducted a physical to see how he was healing up. That showed he is healing nicely but still TBD to justify a multi-million dollar guaranteed contract.

The hope is they've agreed to periodic check-ins/milestones which would warrant both sides to re-engage at a later date
